Ski with your hips, knees and ankles very relaxedand flexible. Bend your chest slightly forward at the waist and hold your arms out in front of you. Keep your head centered and be alert to everything around you. Tilt your wrist to plant your skipole near the shovels of your skis. Try to keep your skis quite close together. If you are doing a lot of bumps skiing, it is advisable to ski with shorter ski poles than usual.
