Body Stance

The most important element for good skiing is having a correct body stance. Develop this at the start and you will make faster progress to the more advanced maneuvers. The key is to distribute your weight evenly over both skis, lean your shins lightly against the tongues of your ski boots, keep your knees bent and relaxed, bend slightly forward at the waist and hold your arms in front of you with your skipoles pointed backwards.
