This is a good way to climb up an easy slope. You also learn how to use your ankles and feet to set your edges and how to transfer your weight from ski to ski. Keep your skis in a ‘V’. Be sure to keep your feet and ankles rolled inwards as you step on to the inner edges of your skis so that the skis don’t slip backwards. Lean your body out over the stepping ski.
