High Speed

To ski in control at high speeds requires that you have a good stable, low body position as you ride the ski edges. It’s best to start out practicing carving high speed turns on the easy runs before skiing them on the steep runs. Keep your skis spread wide apart and lean your hips up the hill. Use your upper body to counter the way your hips are leaning. As you gain speed stay low and hold your arms wide apart for balance.
