Powder Position

The two keys to skiing powder on normal skis are to be in a good powder position and ski with exaggerated flexion/extension movements. Keep your back relaxed and upright and lower your hips so that your weight is over your heels. Have your skis close together and your weight over both skis. Hold your arms in front of you at approx. shoulder level
