Powder Turn Faults

Powder is very unforgiving. A mistake will often lead to a fall. Some of the most common errors that you should try to avoid making are: bending your chest forward, sitting too far backward, having your weight all on one ski, swinging your hips and arms, shifting your weight from ski to ski, having your skis too far apart, starting a turn by kicking your heels and skiing with your legs, knees and hips too rigid.
This Video Tutorial is from the “SkiTips 3” App for iPhones and iPads and from the “Powder and Off-Piste Skiing” eBook, both available on the Apple AppStore.
