Slopes and Colors

Its worth understanding the color schemes of the ski runs before heading out so that you don’t find yourself on a run that is too difficult for you. The green runs are the easiest and black runs are the most difficult. Blue runs are the intermediate runs. European resorts also have red runs which are advanced intermediate. Also be aware that snow conditions, such as ice and powder, can make any run more difficult to ski.
