The Basic Telemark Stance

The basic stance that you’ll be in for most of your Tele skiing resembles a ‘curtsy’ or ‘genuflection’. It’s essentially a stride, or a lunge forward with one of your feet. Your rear knee should align with your front ankle, your weight over the front of your rear foot and the back of the front foot. Hold your arms relaxed in front and look forward, not down.
