The C&I Positions

An essential key to skiing in control is to ski with a good body position, especially when carving on steep runs. The position that will enable you to ski in control is to ski with your body in a letter ‘C’ position, which is the shape that your body will be in when your hips are leaning up the hill, or to the inside of the turn, while your upper body is leaning down the hill or to the outside of the turn.
